This was the first time that I have had the opportunity to create animals and it was a blast! I learned a lot and can't wait until the next animal project....

Basketball Cake

The square layer is created with two layers of chocolate cake covered with buttercream. The call was carved from two layers of chocolate cake covered with buttercream and then two layers of fondant. I cut the designs out of gumpaste and colored them with edible markers.
